Tarobogu (太郎坊宮) is a picturesque shrine on Mt. Tarobo in Yokaichi-town, which is now part of Higashiomi City. There are connected walking paths up and around the mountain, which offer beautiful scenery both of the mountain, and of the nearby farmlands as you make your way to the various statues and altars on the mountain. The main deity here is the tengu, Tarobo, whom the mountain was named after.
